iniquity and strife over the righteous? b. God is raising
up the Babylonians to punish the wicked.
- Why will God send a more wicked nation to punish one more righteous than
the oppressor?
CHAPTER 2
- The just will live by his
faith, and it will hold him up. Woe to all the proud, the unjust, and the
evil doers. The oppressed will tauntingly overcome the wicked. Those whom
the wicked partners with will come against him also. As Babylon plundered nations, they too will
be plundered. God is on his thrown and sees all, let not anyone question
Him.
CHAPTER 3
- Habakkuk praises and
glorifies God for all His mighty works and says no matter how much evil
flourishes around him, he will still rejoice in the Lord his God. God is
his salvation and his strength.
